These aim to provide a Sunday service that all can enjoy. Young, old and anything in between. Staying with our tradition of weekly communion but using the well known stories from the Bible, action songs, memories verses. There will be refreshments before we begin, at the end, or, BOTH.
When are they held? The 1st Sunday of the month at St Francis Church, and the 3rd Sunday at St James!
Our midweek gatherings for parents/gardians and children at St. Francis and St James are currently suspended but we hope to make new arrangements in the near future. Watch this space!
Little Stars is the toddler group at St Francis Church on Hollow Way held every Monday morning in school term time.
Little Stars is a friendly group, open to all carers, grandparents and parents with their babies and toddlers. Our sessions start at 10 am. Tea Coffee and snacks are available from 10 to about 11 am
Soon after 11 am toys are put away and we have spend time time with songs and a Bible story. We finish prompt at 11:30, but recognise that some people need to go before then.
Little Stars runs during the School terms.
You are invited to Seashells! It’s a great morning out, children and their moms, dads, grannies and carers meet every Tuesday morning.
You’ll discover lots of well-maintained toys for the children to play with and activities to keep them amused. While the children are playing parents and carers can relax over a cup of tea, coffee and other refreshments; there are refreshments for the children as well. The morning ends with a sing-song for everyone.
